St. Xavier's School, Shankarshed Road, Pune is a Proposed CBSE English Medium Co-Ed. School founded in
2013 and named after St. Francis Xavier, a 16th century saint who led an
extensive mission into Asia, mainly in the Portuguese Empire of the time. He
was influential in the spreading and upkeep of Catholicism most notably in

The Society of Jesus, to which the Jesuit Fathers and Brothers belong, is a Christian Religious Order founded by St. Ignatius of Loyola in 1540.
